This is why I think it was a monumentally bad idea to allow Disney to buy Star Wars and Marvel. They have no respect for the source material and will do anything to make a buck. Next they will have Mickey Mouse swinging a lightsaber.

Perhaps. But Disney has owned Marvel for six years and they haven’t done any such crossovers yet. Unless you count Disney Infinity.
 
There was also a novel with the X-Men and Star Trek: TNG. It would be funny if they made a movie out of that. How would you tell Picard and Professor X apart? 😃

Yeah, part of the appeal of Star Wars, IHMO, is the kind of legend aspect of it – ‘A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.’ So, for Luke Skywalker or any of the other characters to cross-over it will be yet another time travel or alternate universe scenario.
 
:rotfl: Now I think they need to make such a movie just so I can see Patrick Stewart with a goatee. 😃
