This is not against immigrants …it is showing what is happening here as well as in Mexico. Prayers needed…

“Satan targets Mexico, he says, as an attack on Our Lady of Guadalupe. And he warns that many immigrants are involved in crime and witchcraft. The drug cartels are especially enamored of Santa Muerte — a demonic “saint.” “Mexico is a drugocracy,” he notes.”

The Vatican also spoke against the Santa Muerte cult. I understand people use to get success with money and many drug dealers use it.
I personally do believe that the low state of morality in Mexico and the drugocracy is due to this evil cult forbidden by the Church. Help in business from the devil always comes with a price that is always worse than the initial state that seemed desperate enough to go get help from him.
Praying Mexico finds a way out of it. Same as California with the “church of satan”, Detroit, New York (where the “church” has moved) and all other places on Earth plagued with actively worshipping the enemy.

I was borderline obsessed with learning about Santa muerte when I was gradually discerning about the church. I actually offered a prayer to her and have since realised how foolish that was ( some people think she is just a depiction of Mary). Really the prayer was more of a spell to help me out of a bad time in my life. When I converted I confessed doing spells. It is a dangerous thing as it masquerades as a saint . I am still not quite ready to laugh at myself over it all just yet but I do feel foolish and I was a person living in relative comfort even then compared to many poorer Mexican people who are desperate. I really have a deep aversion to it now

I like Jesse Romero, listen to his podcasts, heard about his new book. He is a strong voice on a subject not spoken of often…!

I’m sorry, emest. I really feel for you. Personally, I find Hispanic culture beautiful and fascinating. I used to work as an overnight manager at a McDonald’s and working with Hispanics from all across Latin America. I respect them deeply. I was even engaged to an El Salvadoran woman at one point.

I find it sad when other countries adopt EuroAmerican concepts and end up eroding their own beautiful cultures and traditions. I personally believe that each culture and tradition is beautiful and valuable in its own right and should be preserved from being wiped out by EuroAmerican influences and allowed to flourish and develop along the lines the members of that culture deem appropriate to their desires and conditions.

I love my fiancé’s Filipino culture. The more I learn, the more I love it.

As for the cult of Santa Muerte; I find it disturbing. It’s basically a cult centered on a personification of Death. I believe the Church in Mexico has spoken against it and rightly so. I think work has to be put in to stop it’s spread and it’s hopeful eradication.

We had a local store run by a Chinese family and he started selling those candles. I was a regular customer and explained to the owner about the candles, he was very willing to get rid of them. He wasn’t a Christian and still was willing to remove them.

Pray the rosary against these things. Deliberately ask Mary to get rid of it. Ask her for mercy, ask that she request of Jesus that it be removed. Ask her to send any demons involved in it to be sent to the foot of the cross where they will judged by our Lord, and ask her to crush the head of the serpent.

But Our Lady of Guadalupe keeps calling her children to holiness. Your land has the blood of martyrs soaked in the willingness of men, women, and children who gave their lives for the right to have the freedom of religion. Your land has had faithful priests killed and the evil cartel will crumble under the earth if they do not repent. Keep praying …Viva Cristo Rey !
