Starting a new job on Monday

July 17th I am starting a new job. Please pray that all goes well.
In the past, I have faced several issues with my job.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

Lord, Thank you that you have good things in store for those who love you, for those who have been called according to your purpose. Thank you for the gifts and talents that you have given abinjoy. Even before abinjoy was born your hand was at work in the very fabric of their being and through their adult years you have stood by and provided for them in good times and in times of need and crisis, including providing them with this opportunity for success at their new job.

I reach out you now O God and ask that you would continue to help abinjoy in their new job. Open their heart, protect their mind, cover their thinking, that their mind might be alert to your leading and their spirit sensitive to your promptings. Help them find fulfillment and happiness while succeeding at their job. Help them, through their work, to not only provide for their own needs but also to give of their time and resources to others and help their work mates and others to succeed in work and life.
