Starting a new medication

I am going to start a new medication for my generalized anxiety (Zoloft). I am very scared to take this medicine. I plan on taking one eighth of the lowest dose pill my first time. Please pray that this medication works for me as it should and that I have no bad reactions to it.
 
Holy Patroness of those in need, Saint Rita, so humble, pure and patient, whose pleadings with thy Divine Spouse are irresistible, obtain for me from thy Crucified Christ my request for your intention. Be kind to me, for the greater glory of God, and I promise to honor thee and to sing thy praises forever.

Oh glorious St. Rita, who didst miraculously participate in the sorrowful Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ, obtain for me the grace to suffer with resignation the troubles of this life, and protect me in all my needs.

God, Father, help heal this man. May the new medicine have no adverse affects to his body. May he be healed to helps spread the good news of your word. In your name, Jesus amen!

Merciful God please have compassion on John for the generalizd anxiety that troubles him.
Please bless him with a lifting of the severety of his anxieties in this often stressful world.
Guide him, and embrace him in Your love.
And the medication …please protect, guide, and bless him regarding this.
Lead John towards healing, and with ease of any unnecessary stressors, merciful God
