Starting a new medicine

I am starting a new medication (Buspirone) for my anxiety. I will be on it temporarily until my life situation gets better. My doctor said it has a very benign side effect profile and that it’s not addictive although I am a still quite nervous to take it. Please pray that this medicine does what it’s supposed to do and that I have no bad reactions to it. Thank you so much.

I pray that the Lord gives you relief, whether it be through medicine or other means. Amen.
 
Thank you that’s a good prayer. Sometimes God heals through modern medicine, sometimes He heals in other ways. Whatever happens I know that He will give me what I need not necessarily what I want.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal ( john123). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into john123’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Father please allow this person to take this medicine without any side effects. Please help and cure this person. May they walk strong in Christ. In your name, Jesus amen!

as patroness of those afflicted with mental, emotional,
and nervous disorders. She is thus an inspiration and
a symbol of charity to the thousands who ask her
intercession.

We beg You, Lord, to hear St. Dymphna’s prayers
on their behalf. Grant them relief and consolation
