Okay, here’s an interesting one for you guys.
How do you convince your parish priest to have adoration (even just once a week) in your parish, when your priest is a conservative liturgist, and thinks that Eucharistic Adoration takes away from the liturgy?
Approach everything, especially something like this - first, with prayer.
I am in a parish with a fair amount of Adoration opportunities (a chapel run by a religious order of sisters on our property is open from about 9:30am until 6:30am, and we have Adoration the first Sunday of the Month following the last Mass for an hour for vocations).
I once asked my pastor what I can do when I want to be in adoration, but cannot be there, such as when I am at work. He said that it is pleasing to God when we pause and consider the Blessed Sacrament closest to us at a given moment, and briefly adore Him in our hearts.
Adoration can, and should be done throughout the day as the thought comes, even at home. It is here that you should begin your prayer before attempting to discuss (or to discuss further), the matter with your pastor.
Offer some Rosaries for him daily.
As you pray for him, ask the Blessed Mother for the prudence to discover the most charitable way to bring about Adoration in your parish. She was a tabernacle to Our Lord.
I suggest that all people first approach their pastor with a request to start out with a Holy Hour at a time that is convenient for him to expose the Blessed Sacrament, and to offer Benediction. This might be following the last Mass of the weekend once monthly, but if it is a one-priest parish, he may be fatigued. Perhaps he would not mind Exposition during Confessions with Benediction following.
I strongly encourage everyone to get a Holy Hour with Exposition monthly for vocations in the parish and diocese. May all who are called, hear that call and act on the grace accordingly.
It might also help to find a group of other parishioners who also want to do Adoration and approach the pastor as a group, with love and with charity guiding your way.
