Hello everyone. I’m currently living in Seoul, Korea and I’m feeling the Spirit move me to maybe start a prayer group here with fellow young ex-pats and locals. How does one go about starting a prayer group? Just a matter of meeting and praying?

I’m thinking we could all make use of the same prayer book (maybe a Psalter or other Catholic prayer book) and occasionally invite a priest or some of the religious sisters I see around the neighborhood to join us from time to time.

Does anyone here have any experience with this they’d like to share?

Go for it! Do it under the auspices (and at the parish) of your pastor.
Get permission to have the notice placed in the bulletin. The Psalters are great.
Good luck!

Hi Scapularkid8

Have you thought about getting a little group together to do Eucharistic Adoration at your nearest church?

Much needed and desired by Our Lord. 👍

Speak with your Pastor. Ask if you could have Benediction/Exposition. Our Parish has Benedicton/Exposition for our Monday night Prayer Group. We pray the Evening Prayer, Rosary, Miraculous Medal Novena & Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
