Just received the Case for Christ by Lee strobel a bit ago! I am starting to read it today how is it? Is it convincing?
 
Thank you I’m hoping it will crack my wall of disbelief.
 
It is. I read it years ago alongside “Mere Christianity” and it convinced me Christianity was reasonable and true. Took me a while to make it to the other side of the Tiber, however…

When you choose to believe, you will believe.
 
There’s a great talk by Fr. John Riccardo called “Reasons to Believe”. I’ll try to track down the podcast and link it for you. I listen to it frequently.
 
How do I know what’s holding me back I literally have tried to just act in belief and I still have disbelief. Or could God not work through me?
 
Maybe I should make the drive and talk to him he’s about an hour and a half away.
 
God gives us all the capacity to know Him. That is what reason is.

Yes! I’m the same distance from him but I work in Ann Arbor, still haven’t made it over for a service though. He’s great.
 
Dude I am in Ann Arbor every day practically I live just outside!
 
I love Ann Arbor. Not sure I’d like to live there (I’m way north of that area, right around Frankenmuth). But it’s a cool town, for sure.
 
Ann Arbor is pretty awesome lots of amazing breweries and coffee shops and the like!
 
I bet we know some of the same people. I grew up in Lapeer and now I’m in Mayville.
