You are paying out of your own pocket when paying taxes. All education outside the home costs money. Public education is a baseline curriculum, if you want to exceed that curriculum it will cost you. Karate, Gymnastics, Music, Dance etc all exceed the curriculum and cost money. That includes Religious education.My complaint is that parents must pay out of their own pockets for their children to attend those schools while secular /atheist schools are supported by tax dollars. Why are you so opposed to allowing parents of whatever income to choose what type of schools to educate their children in? Why should schools with one theory of education (secular/atheist) be supported by the State and all other schools be privately funded? Why are you against choice?
