I do not follow the life of UCU, but from what I remember, the Ukrainian Catholic University whose banner was lifted by Archbishop Borys Gudziak is working hard for searching the ways to heal the past historical wounds and to fight anti semitism in the country.
Abolision of “Vertep-Jew”, also the initiation of dialogs, the invitation of Jewish scholars to university (Pinchas Polonsky was reading lecture in UCU), and there are many other actions which help to fight the stereotypes in academic level.
