Usually when I do stations, there are a good 160ish people there.
But it helps that its mandatory on Fridays in Lent during the last third of 7th period for my school.

There are probably ten older people and parents that go besides us schoolkids.
The only thing that really bugs me as wrong about Stations is that Father isn’t there

As I understand it(which, keep in mind, isn’t all that well) he gets a nice little pension because he was a chaplain in the Navy for a good three decades, and because his previous three or four parishes were all in the same area and he was caring for his brother with Alzheimers, he bought a house where he lives instead of moving frequently from one rectory to the next. And now that his current parish(mine) is a good thirty miles away from his home, he wound up not moving(again, his brother, because he’s one of those priests that never stays in one place for long) and so he’s frequently unavailable. He tries, but Stations are one thing he hasn’t been able to block out time for.
Tis sad, but we do it anyway. But also because he isn’t available for Stations anymore, we can’t really do Benediction afterwards, either. I miss that.
