How does one stay in a continual state of grace? I know devotionals would help by they are not required. One should not haave to ask for absolution all the time and I don’t but are there any opinions out there?

You stay in a state of grace by not committing any mortal sins. Venial sins do not take you out of the state of grace. This is the teaching of the Church.How does one stay in a continual state of grace? I know devotionals would help by they are not required. One should not haave to ask for absolution all the time and I don’t but are there any opinions out there?

Have recourse to the Sacraments, pray often, go to Adoration, and beg God for the grace to stay in a state of grace.

I’ve always done all these things except help the poor in Somalia. We have so many poor here including myself.Give yourself to other, help the poor in Somalia through WFP, forgive your enemies, treat the humblest as Jesus Christ.

Adoration with Exposition is when the priest places a Host in the monstrance, usually at the conclusion of Mass, and put on the altar. The Host is visible for those sitting in the pews to adore.What do you mean go to adoration? You mean the benediction? When the host is in repose?
You don’t have to wait for Adoration with Exposition to adore Christ, however. You can also to go visit Christ in the tabernacle. He is just as present when in the tabernacle as He is when in exposition. Just sit in the pew and pray to Him.

You are not required to help the poor in Somalia. The other poster had no right to tell you that. You can help the poor anywhere you want if you are in a position to do so.I’ve always done all these things except help the poor in Somalia. We have so many poor here including myself.

Pray without ceasing.

Fall in love completely with Jesus and Our Father. Ask for that grace continually, and with a love that strong, you will not feel any desire to offend Him, no matter how strong the temptation. It CAN be done, and I have been free of mortal sin for many, many years.
