Hey guys was just reading chastity.com its a really good website. I read about this thing called HPV that i didnt know of before… and I got worried.

It says it can spread even by the lower abdomen? I admit i once made out with a girl who might have slept with many guys. We both had our tops off but jeans were still on. Should I be worried?

PS: I dont know any better place to post this issue… I know its not really family life.

No.
This is incorrect information.

HPV is also known as genital warts. Therefore it is passed through contact with ones genitals.
It can be transmitted orally, vaginally or anally through genital contact.

It’s the most common form of STD but you cannot get it if you had no contact with someone’s genitals.

Source is the CDC.

Hey I just received a PM saying that I should be concerned… Can I get a second opinion please?

I was feeling that I should be safe because this isnt much different from two people hugging on the beach is it?

Now I’m worried once again 😦

No you shouldn’t be worried. There is virtually no chance that you have HPV.

Some strains so HPV do cause genital warts but most are asymptotic.

If you are worried or concerned you can always talk to your doctor about it. They do not judge you and it remains confidential. I know that condoms do not stop the spread of HPV or herpes, but I have NEVER heard of anyone catching HPV in the circumstances you listed. Talk to your dr or even the local health dept. if you remain concerned and let this be a lesson in chastity and modesty.
