Step father's trial in deadlock. Will face 50 years if guilty

Hello friends, my stepfather was taken away from us almost 3 years ago for a crime he didnt commit. The nature of the crime is a bit sensitive so I will not go into details but the evidence clearly shows he is innocent and falsely accused by the prosecution. There was no verdict today and my mother is asking for prayers from anyone who cares. The last thing she needs is a mistrial to occur and my brother and sister growing up without a dad. Please friends pray for my stepdad who is a dedicated and hard working man. His name is Carlos.
 
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your stepfather Carlos. However, I will pray this prayer for protection, written by St. Patrick:

Lord, be with us this day,
Within us to purify us;
Above us to draw us up;
Beneath us to sustain us;
Before us to lead us;
Behind us to restrain us;
Around us to protect us.

A Prayer for Justice In Court

Lord God, Redeemer of all men, I come before you today to ask for justice in court. As the Book of Ecclesiastes says, “God will judge the righteous and the wicked, for there is a time for every matter and for every work.”

It is my request that your judgment be manifest in court, though men are fallible, through You justice can be had.

Thank you Lord Jesus, and hear my prayer.

Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular Carlos, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity.
