Did anyone else watch this show? Before this came out recently I actually had respect for his work. Now, honestly, I think he is just a buffoon.
Hawking examines the universe, and concludes, that the Big Bang and creation created itself, from nothing, because time did not exist, and therefore God didnt exist *(As if any Abrahamic religion claims God is bound to this mortal plane of existence and bound to its natural laws) * and therefore nothing was around.
The plane of existence contained zilch, nothing, and it became the universe through positive and negative energy.
Being a mediocre studier of sciences, I myself have done plenty of study on the negative/dark energies that scientists recently declared to be in existence in cohort with the positive energies of the universe.
Nowhere have I ever read that negative energy and positive energy combine to annihilate eachother completely. This would contradict the notion that matter cannot be destroyed, and based on face value, would be a paradox, as we should examine our universe slowly vanishing due to negative and positive energy clashing, but instead, it just keeps growing, and growing, and growing.
He tryed to explain that the universe was a proton. Protons vanish and reappear out of nowhere, just as he claims the universe to have done.
Yet, if this is true, then why would the universe be expanding? Protons and neutrons, electrons, etc, do not rapidly expand outwards. They remain constant.
So much in that show just made me irrate. I cannot believe any self respecting quantum physics practioner or studier out there could take him seriously. His claims were full of paradoxes and straw mans which contradicted plenty of physical laws.
Anyone else :manvspc::slapfight::banghead: right now??
