Steps to get Confirmed?

Hi! I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong spot.
I am 14 1/2, and would like to be confirmed in my church. I just wondered what the ‘steps’ are to begin doing that. Do I need to memorize any prayers or passages? Is Easter the only time you can be confirmed? And I am a baptized Catholic if that makes any difference.

Check with your parish. They usually have programs for high school students to prepare for the sacrament. In my experience the programs last two years. Most likely sessions will start in the Fall when school starts but you can certainly call now and ask for information.

Confirmation is usually in the Spring at the time the bishop can come to confer the sacrament.

You mention baptism but not First Communion. Have you received that sacrament as well?
