She raised him with the help of relatives:)
 
It sounds more like the relatives raised the both of them. It’s good that the family raised him, however I am opposed to special programs which permit mentally disabled people to marry and have children while the state subsidizes the whole matter down to the apartment and social worker who helps the child with it’s homework, etc.
In my opinion having children is not a right and those who can be responsible are the ones who should ahve children. I know I will be accused of promoting eugenics perhaps I am.
I also believe programs which pay drug addicts(who have previously given birth to drug addicted babies) to stay on birth control sound as well.

Well,Lily my husband would’ve had a big brother his grandmother made his mom abort and my husband was supposed to be aborted but his mom was to far along,Thank God:clapping: I wouldn’t have the wonderful boys I have if such a program were in place for my MIL.:crying: In fact my husband would’ve been omitted from God’s plan as well.:nope:
 
Still my original point was overlooked …there are many in this country falsely convicted of rape and sexual crimes in this country. If we castrated rapist just imagine the possibility of castrating someone who is innocent! Castration is worse than death. Also you don’t need male genitals to rape or sexually assault someone … do you understand or do I have to paint a more vivid picture. As I said before there are cases where innocent people have been released from prison (after serving 10 plus years) for sexual crimes they never committed.

The spirit of Hitler and Stalin is still alive in this world … even in this country!!! Has our society become so barbarous that artwork in muesams is worth more than one human life? Should we rip the ability to create life out of the bodies of men and women to save a couple of tax dollars? We don’t want to spend billions of dollars to support starving children in the US yet we want to spend trillions of dollars to support the killing of small children and women, and the sexual assault men in Iraqi military prisons. We are that disgusting!

some people simply don’t care. There is a program already which pays drug addicted women to take birth control. By the way most of these women have already given birth to 5+ drug addicted babies and the babies are in foster care.​

Everyone has a right to life … anything else is pure evil. The ends do not justify the means in all cases especially in most cases.
 
Sterilization is for cats and dogs–NOT for men and women!

It’s entirely immoral to reduce human beings, especially the weakest and most helpless among us, to the level of animals.
 
Wow, I don’t know if anybody else posted this before, but THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE NAZIS DID DURING WWII!!!

It is up to nobody to make the decision that we should sterilize those who are deemed unfit.
 
Seeing as forced sterilization is not acceptable to most - we can try this - let’s introduce the concept of women’s liberation, propagandize her to voluntarily take the pill, convince them that money should come first and childrearing and rearing is for losers, and you don’t need to force anything on them. They will be led to the showers just like the Nazi’s led their victims. What a concept.
 
My son who will turn 17 tommorrow is servely autisitic, mute and developmentally delayed. But under no circumstance would I ever sterilize him. What right do I have to do that? None. Who knows a cure could come along in a few years and I robbed him of this gift. We must take extra care with the mentally challenged to guide them in the right direction. If we just sterilize them its just taking the lazy way out. I know its not easy but putting your Faith in God to help and guide you anything is possible and believe me after 17 years of raising my son I know:blessyou:
