When a Stanford University researcher, he went to China and saw women crying, begging for mercy, and praying for their dying child when they were dragged to an abortion. This as he said led him to abandon his casual, untested moral relativism. This encounter with absolute evil, he said, led him to seek a counterbalancing absolute good, or the world is mad, and so he sought God.
