**One Body, One Face **
There is contention as to whether the Manoppello face is a hoax. Its not a good example to hold up

Yes, it was stored in one of the pillars if I remember…See those links I posted to the devotion. The Miracles of the Veil of Veronica at the Vatican are fascinating.
St Theresa of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face had a great devotion to this.
There is also falsehood surrounding the original Religious Nun who received the devotion. It was attributed to someone else, falsely.
I see this as the great adversary not wanting us to know of the miracles of the real Veil of Veronica at the Vatican.
Did you know of it?
Hi!I just viewed my pre-recorded tape of episode 5. I thought I wouldn’t see it since EWTN was airing specials for Good Friday, but as luck would have it, my DVR recorded the 11:30 PM show. This was awesome, since Dr. Phillips showed slides of the “sudarium” (the napkin that was folded up in a separate place in the tomb - Jn. 20:7)
This may be venerated only 3 times a year in the San Salvador Cathedral in Oviedo, Spain where it is kept. Sept. 14 (Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross), Sept. 21, and Easter.
Of special interest is the overlay of the sudarium over the shroud, which matches the stain in the shroud, as being from the same body. There is no image on the sudarium, but it is stained with pulmonary edema fluid and blood, also AB positive. The dust on the nose of the sudarium equals the identical dust on the shroud, which places it on Calvary.
As Dr. Phillips explained the medical reasons for the fluid on the sudarium. They were able to determine that when Jesus died, his head rested on his right shoulder and the arm was bent slightly. It is believed that when Jesus died, they covered His face while Joseph was petitioning the body from Pilate, which took about an hour. That would explain the amount of fluid on the face cloth.
This information was new to me, and it seemed that some might also appreciate reading about it.
Happy Easter, everyone!
