Still able to take communion

Just wondering if I am living with my girl friend and their is no sex going on am I able to still receive holy communion.
 
Isn’t this really something to ask your pastor or confessor rather than strangers on the internet?

^I’m seconding this. Your pastor will have better moral knowledge and be able to aak the necessary questions to determine your situation.

And with asking the internet, what if 6 people say ‘no’ and 4 people say ‘yes’? Morality isn’t a democracy. Not mention we’re not as educated as your priest (in most cases.) So for example I might think one answer to be correct, but be seriously wrong. So you’d have a decent chance of getting a wrong answer.

Besides, you can shout it from the mountain top that there is no sex going on. Maybe 5% of the people will believe you. The poster who cited scandal to small children is spot on!

DISCUSS IT with a Priest, BUT it would seem to be YES.

GBY, you’re putting both of you at risk though for Mortal sin, NOT looking for trouble is a better solution.
