The Cathedral was closed again today. I’m going to have to wait until the New Year to get to confession. I’m trying trust God’s Merciful Love but I got irritated again as I arrived home just now, I really wish things could change.

Please pray that I make through until then, and things improve with me.

I will pray God protect you, keep you safe, and that your faith protect you from temptation.
You certainly can pray an act of contrition now until you are able to receive the sacrament of reconciliation. Be at peace and trust in the grace and goodness of God.

God, Heavenly Father, I ask that Your Will may be done. Give to those for whom I prayed what You know to be best for their soul.

Give us Your Holy Spirit to enlighten us, to correct us, and to guide us in our current situations.

God, Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ crucified, Your Divine Son, I beg You to grant us the grace to accept your holy Will.

Amen

The time between Christmas and the New Year always seem particularly difficult to gain priestly reconciliation. But don’t give in to temptation!

Our Father, Hail Mary. Glory Be. AMEN

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. x10

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Act of Contrition

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee,
and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven
and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend
Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love.

Confiteor

I confess to almighty God
and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have
greatly sinned
in my thoughts and in my words,
in what I have done
and in what I have failed to do,
through my fault,
through my fault,
through my most grievous fault;
therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin,
all the Angels and Saints,
and you, my brothers and sisters,
to pray for me to the Lord our God.

✝️

Prayer for Peace of Mind

Fortify me with the grace of Your Holy Spirit,
and give Your peace to my soul that I may be
free from all needless anxiety, solicitude, and
worry. Help me to desire always that which is
pleasing and acceptable to You so that Your
will may be my will. Through Christ Our Lord,
amen.
