Dear Brothers and Sisters,
  1. Oh, how drab and full of misunderstanding is this life! My patience is exercised, and after it comes experience. I understand and learn many things each day and see that I know very little, and I am still discovering faults in my conduct. Still I am not discouraged by this, but thank God that He deigns to grant me light that I might know myself.

How we need the encouragement of saints like dear little Faustina! God gives grace to the humble!

Jesus, Meek and humble of Heart, make our hearts like Yours.
Immaculate Heat of Mary, Mother Most humble, pray for us.
St. Faustina pray for us.

Dear RPRPsych and Autumn Smoke,

Thank you both for your replies. How grateful I am to the Lord for His beautiful work in and through His Saints! Re - reading The Diary of St. Faustina during this Year of Mercy has been a great blessing for me. I’m almost half-way through the book, now – interesting timing since our Year of Mercy closes in November – some 6 months away. 🙂
