What did the guards,see, if they were awake and not drugged? Surely they must’ve seen Jesus arise if they were on watch.
No, because it is pure speculation with no basis in fact whatsoever. There is no evidence. No one who was there at the time ever thought that. We know what the people who were there knew happened.
Are you actually falling for this story that some television station invented to make money?

So how did He emerge from the tomb without being seen?

Perhaps the same way he was suddenly in a locked room with his disciples without anyone seeing him enter.

And suddenly there was a great trembling of the earth,
because an angel of the Lord came to the place, descending from heaven, and rolled away the stone and sat over it;
his face shone like lightning, and his garments were white as snow;
so that the guards trembled for fear of him, and were like dead men.
But the angel said openly to the women, “You need not be afraid; I know well that you have come to look for Jesus of Nazareth, the man who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, as he told you.” (Matthew 28:2-6a)

Note that the angel rolled away the stone and then told the women that Jesus was not in the tomb. But they didn’t see Jesus rise from the dead, nor did they see Him emerge from the tomb.

He could make Himself invisible when He wanted to?

Yes, and travel great distance. He had a risen supernatural body that is made of the old but very different. He was now able to do far more, but still eat and drink.

I suggest you go straight to the sources. It won’t take long. Read the death and resurrection stories in the gospels and the book of acts.

👍 Yes! We keep answering your questions with quotes from the gospels, and honestly, when I have time, I don’t mind doing it. But since you have so many questions, you really should read the scriptures yourself as well. Every time I read them, I see something new, or experience it in a new way.

You don’t have to answer my questioncs, you know.BTW, how He emerged from the tomb unseen by the guards isn’t mentioned in Scripture. 😉

So you think that how He emerged from the tomb unseen? By making Himself invisible?

Could be, We don’t know and I don’t think its theologically important. Sometimes our curiosities have to wait till heaven when we meat him and ask 🙂

Ok, I’ve readandreadandread and find nothing to explain why Jesus wasn’t seen emerging from the tomb.

I’m looking forward to NBCs A.D. on Easter Sunday. I saw the previews and a thought occurred to me. Could have the guards at Jesus’ tomb have been drugged and Jesus’s body stolen? Why or why not?
Because then there’d be no Christianity today. And the Holy Spirit would never have descended upon the Apostles, nor would’ve He touched all of us other believers down thru the centuries.

I found the answer to how Jesus emerged from the tomb without being seen from my SD and also my pastor, as,well as the New Theological Movement site. The priest on NTM wrote that Jesus emerged from the sealed tomb, invisible and in another article there, he said Jesus had the ability to be visible and invisible at will.
My SD and priest said Jesus emerged invisible, too.
