We just found out my father-in-law has stomach cancer. I don’t know much about how progressed it is yet, but stomach cancer is never good.:cry:

Please pray for his recovery.

Please pray for his conversion/reversion. He was baptized Catholic. He lost his own father as a young child and stopped believing in God. He has made a lot of progress in his beliefs as he ages and watches his son and grandkids, but we aren’t quite there yet.

Please also pray for my mother in-law whose health fluctuates and whose anxiety disorder will make this an even more difficult time for her.

Prayer to St. Anthony for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus
as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness,
please intercede for @DisorientingSneeze’s father-
in-law, who suffering from stomach cancer. If it is
God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him.
Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask
Our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering.
May God give him fullness of life here on earth and
then call him home to eternal glory. Through Christ
Our Lord, Amen.

Prayer for conversion of sinners

Lord Jesus Christ, most merciful Savior of the world, we
humbly beseech You, by Your most Sacred Heart, that all
the sheep who stray out of Your fold may one day be
converted to You, the Shepherd and Bishop of their souls,
who lives and reigns with God the Father in the unity

Fortify @DisorientingSneeze’s with the grace of Your Holy Spirit,
and give Your peace to her soul that she may be freed from all

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (DisorientingSneeze’s Mother and Father in Law). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into DisorientingSneeze’s Mother and Father in Law’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels. Because you are the “medicine of God” I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body.
