Facebook apologizes for blocking Catholic university’s ad of Jesus on the cross | Fox News

The web communications director at the University of Steubenville called the rejection a “teachable moment” and a reminder for all. He wrote in a piece published on the university’s website “He was rejected,” that this is how humanity reacts to the idea of God humbling himself to death on a cross.

Which is not to say that there haven’t been multiple examples of social media blocking religious expression of a Christian, and specifically Catholic, nature. Social media is full of people just waiting to be offended and eager to flag something that supposedly troubles them.

Yeah, while there’s certainly instances where Christian expression is purposely blocked, this is not one of them. Facebook apologized and corrected the error. Nothing to get too riled up about here.
