Padre Pio is a Twentieth-Century saint very much venerated by Catholics, a Catholic friar who had the stigmata and many gifts from God.
In 1975 a child was born with an incomplete heart, and there was no way she could live longer than four years old. After the mother sought Padre Pio’s help (who had died in 1968), the child’s heart was normal. When the child was tested, the nurse came out white, and sent the mother in to see the doctor, who said “You’ve got a miracle, and I don’t know how you got it.”
