This short account details the astonishing event which occurred when the Virgin Mary appeared and spoke with three children in Portugal in 1917. (She appeared to them after this as well.) This event was later approved by the Catholic Church, and this place, where the Virgin Mary appeared to them, has become one of the great Catholic shrines of the world.
