Corpus Christi is the day Catholics especially honor the eucharist. “Corpus Christi” means the body of Christ in Latin. In fact in many places, the body of Christ, in the eucharist, is carried in a procession through the city or place of the area.
Originally held everywhere on a Thursday, in some places the day of the feast has been moved to the following Sunday, both of which this year occur this week.

Oh, how wonderful! My parish will have an earlier mass and then a procession around the city.

How wonderful it is, through Our Lady, to receive the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ!
