This is great! I love hearing about people waking up to the realization that all that this world has to offer is a mere shadow of what God has for us even here and now.

Beautiful! I’ve seen two Victoria’s Secret models who left the life. I don’t think they were Catholic, and I forget their names. They were both very pretty, even in their swimsuits, but they just needed to use their beauty in a different and better way. I think they converted to Christianity, not Catholicism, but still refreshing just the same.

She was on the TV show about a dozen years ago, right? Around 2004?
I think she was one of the first contestants eliminated.

She’s right, modeling can be a terrible business for many young women.
Unless you are very, very grounded, it can eat you up and spit you out.
Good for her–getting out of the biz before it pulled her in too far.

Actually, your words are good advice to all of us regarding how much we feel the need to commit to thinks of the world. Always too busy for Christ ministries is the rationale I hear most often.
