Strange Dream

So in the recent months I have been praying more , went to confession just getting more into the faith then I have been in years. Last night I had a dream that my bed was shaking I couldn’t stop it and I knew that it was evil and as I was leaving the room a little red stuffed animal bit me. ( weird but its a dream) . I woke up reciting the Hail Mary because I was scared in my dream but I woke up with no fear . ( even though I did check my hand for a bite mark) Has anyone had dreams like that?

I once had a spider sing to me in a dream. But that’s about it.

Sorry. I’m not much good at remembering my dreams. They’re too weird.

I’ve used to have demonic-centered dreams almost every night. Once I started praying the St. Michael’s prayer and Guardian Angel prayer before I went to sleep they ceased.

Lucky you! I have vivid dreams I had a dream the night before that I ran someone over and I woke up trying to figure out if it was true … that is the worst feeling !

Yes original poster, and your dream follows the same pattern mine did in relation to my life at the time. When I hit around 18 years old I turned my back on the church and although I believed in God still, through my willfulness to do my will and not his I turned my back on him too. The older I got the more I began to realise this was wrong and started to turn back to him. Because I was trying to turn my back on sin and therefore evil I had demonic dreams. They attacked me mocked me tortured me. But remember this is God allowing this. And I think I know why he allows it he wants us to see where we are heading if we don’t change. It’s like shining a huge spotlight on something that was previously unseen and dark to us. In my case it made me turn even further from that life and closer to God. I believe the reason they attack in the first place is because they are angry. When you’re on the highway to hell so to speak they can sit back relax and laugh they don’t have to do anything. But when you turn back to God that is another soul hell and the demons are losing as this infuriates them. The dreams are spiritual warfare. Keep praying and keep getting closers to God. It shows you are on the right track!

This is what the dream means in part. In part because you left out details such as where you were bitten.

Basically the bedroom relpresents your most personal private place. It also represent the time. A be shaking is a common tactic used by the demonic to frighten souls. It is the beginning of acknowledgement by evil that you are attempting to grow spiritually and they wish to intimidate you so you do not as fear is the opposite of faith and trust in God.

Lastly the Tactic they will use to attack you with is via a sin the you have had since childhood and that you have taken comfort in. As it is a small stuffed animal it is a small attack.

As you grow in holyness or proximity with God the number and size of the demons you contend with will increase as this your victory. Your only as tuff as the demons you can resist and defeat in Christ. The type of demon depends on your weaknesses.

Focus on God not the demonic attack. Just ignore them and spend more time with God.

Wow thank you , that makes so much sense ! I was bitten on my hand and I still remember looking at it upon waking up. I immediately starting praying the “Hail Mary” and I don’t usually remember my dreams but I do this one ! I will focus on my relationship with God.
