There is a book I might read, but I don’t know. It’s called “Eve,” by WM Paul Young, the author of “The Shack,” which I haven’t read and don’t know that I ever would. But “Eve” has appealed to me, though I can’t quite understand what it is about, actually. This may seem ridiculous not to know, but even when I go on sites that explain the story, I still can’t figure out how it’s written. It seems as though it involves the biblical Eve, yet I can’t quite understand where the author is going with it. It seems very deep and symbolic.
Has anyone read this book? Thanks for any thoughts.

I wouldn’t recommend it. After looking at the reviews, it seems that the author is changing the story of creation and the fall into something quite inaccurate. He makes Eve not culpable of any wrongdoing in the fall and actually changes when the fall happened and how God reacted.

I guess that’s enough for me to know. Anything that involves heavily diverting from scriptural truth I get a bad taste from. Thanks for clearing that up for me. It really doesn’t sound like that great of a book, and neither does “The Shack.” I’ll be skipping this author.:o

I didn’t like The Shack. I have not heard of this new book.
