Ive seen previews of this movie and was looking forward to watching it, its basically about Jesus and the 40 days he spent in the desert, so I popped the DVD into my computer and it would not load or play. I thought it may be my VLC player, so I tried about 15 other dvds, they all loaded, opened and played fine, it seems like its JUST this particular movie.

So today, I went and bought a brand new copy from best buy…same thing happened, it wont even open the dvd.

Ive been watching DVDs on my computer for many many years and this is the ONLY one I have seen that will not play or even open…??

Has anyone else come ever had this happen?

Never heard of this film, so my guess is, there was a bad run of this particular title and you ran into it twice.

How old are the other DVDs that work? Maybe the coding for the new DVD is not compatible with the software application driver program code configuration . . . .stuff you currently have.

As you can see, I’m an expert on computers. 😃

Are you in North America? It’s a Region 1 DVD. Maybe you got hold of one for the wrong region.
You can rent it on Amazon if you want. It looks good.

Could be to do with the region or something. I’ve never seen this movie.

I eventually got it to play by changing the start chapter to 2 instead of 1.

Its strange, this is the only DVD out of 100s I have ever seen like this.
