Strengths & Weaknesses of The New Catholic Answer Bible

I am considering The New Catholic Answer Bible as a choice for my adult sacraments class. What are its strengths and weaknesses? Why would it be good for beginning adult readers of the Bible?

It’s good because of the extensive footnotes and introductions by Catholic scholars, and it’s used in the Lectionary for Mass for U.S. Catholics.
 
Excellent choice! I have one and it has inserts that answer basic Catholic doctrine questions.
 
I have one. It’s got good notes and introductions (the standard ones that come with every edition of the NAB). It also has pages spread throughout the text that answer specific apologetics issues that Catholic face when interacting with Evangelical Protestants and other non-Catholics. It isn’t very expensive.

I recommend it.

Didn’t freeze the cake. Just leaving it exposed to the sun for a few weeks to keep it warm. I suppose I could put it in an envelope and send it somewhere-- as is.

This bible is working out just fine.
