I cannot relax for things that I have done in the past. I repent but still feel like bad luck will happen. I have talked with friends and family and they just let it go. Please pray for me to have peace once again.

I will pray for you. Have you already gone to confession? If not I would suggest this.

Our God, I ask you to give this person an overwhelming sense and understanding of Your merciful love. With thanks and praise. Trishie 🙂

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen :byzsoc:

Remember our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ died for us 2000 years ago, wiping away any sins we have commited, will commit and our commiting right now. Then He rose again to show that we can put to death our sins and live a new life as a Christian. Therefore it is for us to claim this salvation by asking for forgiveness and changing our life the best we possibly can. ( Ex: by going to confession and then practicing penance). There will be no bad luck or condemnation lets say for those who remain in Christ Jesus ( this is a fact). My prayers are with you that you may be granted peace in order to live in the fullness of Christ Jesus.

God Bless
Podo

Thank you all for your prayers I can feel God’s peace this morning.

St Michael the archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense aganinst the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbley pray and do thou Oh prince of the heavenly hosts by the power of God thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl the earth for the ruin of souls.

Take heart–Christ is victorious

Our sins are forgiven. God promised us this…You should go to confession though…it helps tremendously and maybe talk to a priest in private. Our God is a forgiving God…He loves us no matter what…I am praying for you

Praying for you! A priest once told me some good advice: Let go, let God!

I’ll be praying for you.
Go back to confession and let the priest know you are having a hard time letting go. He can help.

My advice is to go to Confession, regardless of how much it bothers you, and then remember that God forgets as soon as we confess and feel true sorrow. If you are really struggling with this sacrament, I suggest that you use visualization–it is Christ sitting on the other side of the screen. You cannot tell Him anything He does not already know. He will know your heart, know that you have suffered for a long time as a result of your sins, but He will forget them. He wants you to feel freedom from guilt. If you are hanging onto them (your sins) even after God has let them go, then you are sort of making yourself bigger than God. Now, I know you don’t feel bigger than God. If He forgives you (AND HE DOES–HE IS JOYFUL THAT YOU ARE SORRY AND HAVE CONFESSED!!), then you can forget them with peace and joy. I know, I have done this. He loves us with a love that is so much greater than any love we have shared with others here on earth. We must have faith in His love and forgiveness. Please try this! You will find joy! Mary

I ask God to give you peace, and to make everything right again for you and whoever may have indirectly or directly been adversely affected by any errors you made, yourself included. I ask the fullness of God’s mercy for you and them.

Praying for your intentions:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

The great thing about God, that’s so hard from us to fathom, is not only does He forgive, He forgets.

You need to do the same.

I add my prayer to the above.

Shalom

Remember, oh most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence I fly unto thee, oh Virgin of Virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Oh Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Amen. :byzsoc:

Call on Jesus to rebuke the evil spirit of doubt.
Imagine standing on the beach and picking up a handful of sand, tht represents your sins, now throw that sand into the ocean. The ocean is God’s forgiveness. That is what confession is like. I heard Mother Angelica say this years ago and it helped me. I can be scrupulous sometimes. You have company with many saints who also suffered with this same fear/anxiety. There was one saint that was 100% certain he would be going to Hell for his sins. Of course he didn’t and is a saint. So sorry I can’t think of his name right now…but it is a true story.
Give your feelings and doubts to our Lord. He will help you.
