Ross, hope you are feeling peace, please know we are praying for you and your situation…
Father God, Grant peace and comfort. Bring about an understanding of the depth of Your love and forgiveness. You state in Your work that when we confess our sins You are faithfully and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Take away the torment and shame. You’re so welcome. I’ve had you on my mind from time to time. One suggestion I’d make for you personally is to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy on your rosary. I’ve always found so much comfort from praying it. It’s a wonderful prayer.I just want to say thanks to all of you. I have felt so much peace the last couple of days.
Thank you for praying.I ask God to give you peace, and to make everything right again for you and whoever may have indirectly or directly been adversely affected by any errors you made, yourself included. I ask the fullness of God’s mercy for you and them.
Once again thank you to everyone. your prayers have really helped. I have doing much better now days. You were remembered in my rosary intentions this morning.
Amy – I’m so glad to hear that. I guess prayer really does work when people pray together.Once again thank you to everyone. your prayers have really helped. I have doing much better now days.
Hello Loumb, and welcome to CAF!I’m in the same shoes. I think I’m worse off because all I ever think about day in day out is the state of my soul which I see as black. YOu see, I was a habitual sinner in the past, for a very, very long time, although I kept going to church and receiving the sacraments. Until now, I still go to church and receive the sacraments actually. It’s just that the bad feeling seems not wanting to leave me. I cannot explain the depth of my misery. It’s too much, something like having hell next door.
Oh, I think it would help you to read books about the Divine Mercy by Sister Faustina and also recite prayers that offer wonderful promises, such as the Rosary, the 15 St. Bridget prayers, the Way of the Cross, etc. Of course, keep attending the HOly Mass.
Believe me, it is so wonderful to read about the promises Jesus has attached to these activities. I guess, they’re my only hope and consolation.
I will pray for you. Please pray for me too. I need God’s mercy. God Bless! Hope you have a nice life.
Amen.Hello NahbiosHello Loumb, and welcome to CAF!

My own advice is to be gentle but firm with yourself, with the Holy Spirit as your Guide. And it sounds like you have a good prayer life - good for you!
May God Bless you and Our Blessed Mother help you!Amen.
