Stressful job please help

I work in a physically , mental , emotional stressful job . It got a bit too much and I got very angry and done something I shouldn’t of . No body got hurt . I can’t talk too much about what happened . I feel bad . I hope god can forgive me

It’s impossible to give you advice without knowing more specifics, but God can forgive anything if you’re truly repentant.
 
God loves us so much that He gave us a Sacrament for this very purpose.

Go to confession and talk to the priest about this. For three reasons. One for the forgiveness of sins. Two he might have some good insight to help you avoid this anger in the future. And three I find when I verbally confess my sins to the Priest it makes me own up to my sin. For me it is way to easy to confess directly to God and makes it to easy for me to relapse. Don’t get me wrong I do confess directly to God. But I also take that sin to the Priest to bring that sin into the light, so that I am better able to repentant and see that sin in the front of my mind to help me avoid that sin in the future.

A short aspiration that I use, which helps me is this: Father, you’re helping me to work with order and joy.

As you begin your job, or many tasks during your work hours, you can say this short prayer to maintain a more lively presence (influence) of God.

Or if you need a shorter one…Mary, guide me.

Go to confession when you can. In the mean time ask God for his forgiveness and say an Act of contrition even if it’s just one in your own words.

As for something to stop your doing such things in the future, I read something recently that helps me treat people better, I think it was something a saint did but my poor memory is shot so cant recall which saint sorry. Pretend you are serving/working with/dealing with Jesus and His disciples and that ought to make you feel more respectful and less likely to snap or hit out at people. The tips on prayer people have given above are good too. Also consider either getting a new job or speaking to your line manager or if you are the boss doing something about the stress in your job. Working in a stressful job is not good for your physical health and as you are seeing it is not good for your spiritual health either. We need to take care of our body if we are going to be able to avoid sin, many saints have even regretted being too hard on the body and even if you were too you’d need spiritual direction. In this case it is likely to cause harm. Moderation is called for like rest and recreation in forms that are spiritually healthy. God bless you
