String dolls... any harm?

Hey, ive been wondering about these string dolls. I was cleaning my room and noticed that there was a string doll that you got from vending machines behind my rosary. It looked like a mini superman. Are these dolls considered voodoo? They seem more like toys and such but im kind worried. I keep telling myself that even if there was evil, the rosary would of blocked it put but im still unsure.

Ps. Im pretty darn sure they werent used in some cermony, i just need to be put at ease because my sister has a collection of these vending machine string dolls

Where did you or your sister get the doll? A vending machine you said or that they look like something from a vending machine?

While you can buy an Ouija board at any toy store, a little doll is a different story.

My older brother recently went to visit his Fiancé, she lives in the Deep South whereas we grew up and live in the northeast so very different culturally. He was in a major Deep South City, and he said every street corner had people selling Voodoo dolls and other demonic stuff, he said it was pretty scary how everywhere you look you could see this stuff. So voodoo stuff is real, whether it has power or not I don’t know, but they sure are demonic in use

A lot of that is simply tourist trap shilling. Real voodoo practitioners don’t sell things on the street corner.

Why don’t you remove them! if you feel uncomfortable don’t use them ! the dolls i mean or remove the dolls and get it blessed by a Catholic priest in your parish.

Historically most dolls were made from string. Long before plastic. String and wood. Can’t see the harm in that.
