Hello,

I was reading the Byzantine Catechism, which read …

“This oil is also considered “an armor of righteousness”, recalling the struggle of repentance that comes with accepting the new life in Christ” (Light for Life, Part Two, 81)

This ‘struggle of repentance’ sounds like something straight out of the Epistles of Saint Paul - but I can’t think of exactly where. Do you know?
 
Are you perhaps thinking of Romans 7:7-25?
My RSV Bible puts titles above segments and this segment is title “The Christian Struggle”.
