No its coming from you. Your name is on it not His. You are claiming the Passages mean what YOU think they mean. That doesnt define the True Meaning of Scripture. You dont have the Lawful Authority to Dicern Scripture. Only the Church does.

2 Peter 1 : 16 through 21
God created us with intelegence to understand scripture. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to reveal to us who is Jesus. All of scripture are about Jesus.

Matthew 16 : 18 *And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Are you saying ther Gates have prevailed?

Mat 16:18 has been the verse that refered to for the establishing the Pope.
However, you would need to read Mat16:15-18 to fully understand the ‘rock’ that Jesus is refering to.

Jesus ask Peter who do he think Jesus is. Peter answered Christ. Jesus bless Peter because God has revealed who is Jesus. Then Jesus said 'on this rock I will build my church. Jesus is pointing to Himself as the ROCK.

Mat 16:15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
Mat 16:16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, [fn] the Son of the living God.”
Mat 16:17 Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven.
Mat 16:18 And I tell you that you are Peter, [fn] and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades [fn] will not overcome it. [fn]

From wikipedia-
Blessed Pope Pius IX (13 May 1792, Senigallia – 7 February 1878), born Giovanni Maria Mastai-Ferretti, was the longest-reigning elected Pope in Church history, serving from 16 June 1846 until his death, a period of nearly 32 years. During his pontificate, he convened the First Vatican Council in 1869, which decreed papal infallibility. The Pope defined the dogma of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, meaning that Mary was conceived without original sin and that she lived a life completely free of sin. Pius IX was also the last Pope to rule as the Sovereign of the Papal States, which were absorbed into the newly formed Kingdom of Italy.

Right Byz Cath, the Bible is the product of the Church and not the other way around. This is why when non-Catholics attempt exegesis of Scripture they usually end up being wrong because they are trying to seperate Scripture from the Church from which it was given, or maybe I should say they reject the Church from which it came.
the Old Testaments scriptures has been written down with revelation of the coming messiah, namely Jesus Christ.
the New Testament is written word that Jesus has come.
the church are the body of believers in Jesus Christ.

Wikipedia is not a credible source.

To struggle with something is not to sin. Everyone has different struggles they have with dogmas and the faith. Just trust in Jesus and His Church, research what you can and try your best.

That doesn’t mean the sources of the dogmas are not Scriptural.

Nor does it mean Pope Pius IX “started” such dogmas.
