Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I am currently without some of my psychiatric medications, so please keep this in mind when responding to my wonky thought processes.
Yesterday, I bought a floral arrangement for my mother’s grave as I could not get to her grave on Mother’s Day. I spent $37.50 at the Catholic cemetery where Mom is buried because those floral arrangements are designed to fit in the planters that the cemetery installs. I also bought $30.00 in flowers for my home garden.
I believe that I must have sinned because now God is punishing me. I discovered this morning that my psychiatric medications will not be shipping out to me because I owe $60.00 to the mail order pharmacy for these medications.
I keep trying to trust in God but my current wackiness is making it difficult. God doesn’t play games like this, right? Am I right? I know that God has shown in the Old Testament that He can get pretty angry at us but I really want to hope that God isn’t sitting in heaven thinking of new and different ways for smacking me if I make a mistake.
Thank you, everyone, for listening. God bless.
