I am humbly asking for prayers for my marriage. I am currently separated from my husband since April. I struggle with several medical conditions that had affected my ability to be a better wife. After several years, my husband “couldn’t take it anymore”.

Please pray for our hearts to be softened, for our minds to forgive and hope that one day we can work towards reconciliation. Pray for guidance to make the right choices in life.

But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular MrsLynn2009, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Prayer for Marriage

God the Father,
We pray for Your precious daughter who is hurting this day.

Lord, she is weary and her heart is aching.

Thank you for your steadfast love that reaches out to hurting people.

Lord, we know that whatever has taken place in this relationship, your desire is for love, tenderness, and forgiveness to fill their hearts.

We pray that this woman and her husband would find the determination to continually yield themselves to the leadership of the Holy Spirit as you guide them to follow your will for their lives. We ask this through Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear Lord, even when marriage is beset by difficulties, it is painful to be separated from one’s spouse, and it is lonely and frightening to endure the change in ones life.
Please have compassion on MrsLynn
Their separation is caused by the suffering both have endured, regarding health on the one side, and some sense of deprivation on the other.
Please bless and heal both wife and husband. Please give healing and reconciliation according to Your loving purpose for their lives.
Dear Lord, thanking You in hope and trust.

Prayer for Troubled Marriage

O St. Rita,

Make us understand that a vocation is not only a matter of attraction.

Enable us to see clearly that it is also a matter of finding, in ordinary events, God’s will for us and then accepting it even if it seems to be baffling and contrary to our wishes.

Teach those called to the marriage state by the Lord to reflect deeply on the delicate choice that will influence their destiny.

Let them not be deceived by their feelings; instead, let them look for the solid qualities that keep a home united in the joy of the Lord.

Teach unhappy spouses the power of patience and mildness. Let them not give way to discouragement but, like you, let them save both the happiness of their home and the soul of their spouse.

O St. Rita, we pray this Prayer for Troubled Marriage through your name and in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
