Thanks in advance for your thoughts and prayers!
My husband and I were married May 10th this year, we love being married and he is such a wonderful man
We bought a house that needed some work in September and decided to move into his parents basement until we could move into our new house. At the time we were expecting to be into the house within a few weeks. Its been two months and we are still living in the basement⦠Iām struggling with not feeling much like a wife. We donāt get much time to ourselves and he acts different around his family (not bad different, just more like a son than a husband)
We are so busy with him finishing school, leading youth group at church, working on the house and just life in general that he feels like he doesnāt have time to work on the house and wants us to stay here longer, not sure how much longer⦠I told him we can wait until heās done with classes in november, but I wonāt live in the basement indefininetly.
Then yesterday he told me that he agreed to help someone from our church move Saturday morning. Iām so frustrated that he will make time to help someone move, but canāt find time to work on the house. My mom has said that I should try not to burden him too much with my frustrations because he is doing his best and will feel really guilty⦠but Iām really really struggling and I feel like he doesnāt understand how badly I need us to be in our own place. Please help me know how to lovingly share my burdens with him without placing blame on his shoulders.
