I know this prayer request may seem trivial, but I would appreciate any prayers you are willing to give. I am sincerely struggling to be a gracious wife today to my husband. I was up most of the night with a vomiting two year old, had a hard day at work, came home and put dinner on the table but it wasn’t what he wanted… Now I’m rambling. Bottom line, anybody who is willing to give a few quick prayers for a wife and a mama trying to keep it together are greatly appreciated!!👍

Dear Ophelia, I will pray for you and your family.
For you, and that your husband, who also has his own stresses, will kindly consider yours.
May God comfort you and give you the graciousness that you need, even when distressed and tired because of your daughter’s sickness (or any other added stress) and a full day’s work yourself.
May God soften his heart with more understanding.
You seem a wonderful girl. Don’t be too hard on yourself, Love

God bless you.
May I kindly recommend that you post this request in our Prayer Intentions Forum?
If you check the “Forums” list, you will find Prayer Intentions below “Family Life.”
In this way, Prayer Warriors are more likely to see your request and respond in prayer.

A warm hug,
Trishie

Ophelia,

the fact you are humble enough asking for prayers after having to deal with such a situation makes me think you’re being an extremely gracious wife and mother.

Prayers for your Family

God bless

This just made me think of something, sorry to go on a tangent, but why is it we so often treat our family, the people we are supposed to love the most worse than we’d treat strangers or acquaintances. Imagine going to someone’s house do for dinner and getting food and saying, “This isn’t what I want.”

Your request is not trivial.

Praying for you.

From one struggling wife & mama to another…

I hope (and pray) you have a better night and easier day tomorrow.

And remember that there are legions of us

Dear Lord, please help Ophelia23 to forgive her husband for his thoughtlessness. Please prick his heart and show him his own mistake in taking her for granted, when she is tired, worn out, and still has cooked him dinner. Let them end up the evening in each other’s arms, knowing that hard days won’t separate them but cause them to draw even closer together.

Amen.

Oh man that is a relative of mine to a T. 😃

Well you know what they say, “You always hurt the ones you love”.

Please pray that Ophelia23’s husband says up with the vomiting toddler, then works a full day, comes home and cooks his lovely hardworking wife dinner (after e goes to the grocery store). Boorish behavior should not be encouraged - tell him how he made you feel!

You sound like you are certainly trying your best! 🙂

I included your intention in my evening prayers tonight.
