There was a Sister once kneeling behind me at low Mass breathing through her nose quite loudly with a slight whistle. I think she had nasal issues. It was like this, youtube.com/watch?v=wJWsW1FN_Vo, only I was able to contain myself.

Tell me about it, today I had to attend a school mass with liturgical dancers and pop music playing during the offertory!
OP, I suggest to go to a different parish and stay away from such masses because they will weaken your faith. God bless

The OP is already in RCIA and nothing else he’s talked about indicates a problem with the RCIA program. In fact, the idea of the class attending each Mass time as a group is a good idea.

Our RCIA does not attend Mass as a group except when they are going through a specific rite (welcoming, etc.). The rites are all held during the same Mass time. I understand why - that Mass is considered the “main” Sunday morning Mass - but people who regularly attend other Masses do not see the process of RCIA, and the new members are not formally introduced to the entire parish.

OP, since you will not have to attend this Mass forever, it sounds like you are handling things well by waiting until just before Mass begins to come into the sanctuary. Other than your car, is there a chapel or other space in the church you can wait?
