Yes.
The Catholic Church has an apostolate named “Courage.” It is a group of people with same sex attraction who work together to bring thier lives – all of their lives, including their sexuality – under the Lordship of Christ.
I notice you are not Catholic, so if that group would not be one you would be comfortable approaching, then perhaps one of the Christian groups that are a part of Exodus International may be a better fit.
I know of one excellent non-Catholic Christian ministry for people with same sex attraction, called “Reedemed Lives Ministry.” It is headed by an Anglican (not US Episcopal) priest named Rev. Mario Bergner. He was in the homosexual lifestyle for some years, is now running this ministry, is married, and has 4 children. You can Google them. I’ve met Mario; he is the real deal.
May God bless you and be close to you as you seek to carry this cross. May he lead you to where you can get the help, support, and encouragement you need to be successful in this struggle.
One final observation. This is something that has to be handled in the long haul. I’ve never heard of a quick fix. And it goes in steps. First, bring your life and sexuality under the Lordship of Christ. Then, see where that leads. Beware, I’d suggest, of anyone who promises quick fixes, or guaranteed transformations. But God’s grace can – does – work wonders.
Again, God bless and strengthen you.
