Struggling with humility

Ive never been like this before(caring what other people do) but recently my neighbour who we know very well has been seeing a guy whose married. Theyre in their 70’s as well. My neighbours husband died 2 years ago. The guy who she is seeing his wife has dementia. I understand they may be lonely & need someone to talk to but I cant help seeing them from my bedroom window all touchy feely, holding hands kinda thing etc.

Now, I know I should mind my own business. Mother Theresa said…

“kEEP busy with your own affairs & not those of others”

“Avoid curiosity”

“Do no interfere in the affaird of others”.

I know I’m not living the way I should be, and I’m struggling to do what Mother Theresa says, I wish I could ignore it & just worry about my own life. I’m annoyed that its getting to me, but I just don’t like people doing shady things, lack of integrity, morals, loyalty, faithfulness etc.

I just want someone to tell me what to do or how to continue, how should I act, what does God want me to do in this situation etc etc. I know I shouldn’t judge anyone. I understand people are allowed friends even married friends its seeing with my own eyes the touchy feely stuff that’s made me think they aren’t just friends and I don’t like what they are doing. As a catholic what am I called to do?.
 
Just turn your head.

Neither God nor the Holy Church has named us the moral police. And Scripture doesn’t say any good about busybodying.

Maybe this is not lack of humility…maybe it’s just righteous anger.

In any event, we reap what we sow and theres a pay day someday for sin. So i keep thst in mind when i see shadiness. There’s a eye in the sky and they will be dealt with

Do not stare at your neighbors, keep track of who they are seeing, etc… It is none of your business.

I agree, and I will do my best. All I’m saying is our gardens are close together it is unavoidable, I cant help but see their movements…unless I move house, But I don’t wanna move house just because of them.

Thank you, id never seen this.
 
Leave them alone and keep your own house in order. If they are in their 70’s I am sure they know what is right or wrong. Leave them to what comfort they have as you didn’t say that they were doing anything out-rightly immoral. Peace
 
Seems to me … Jesus [or one of the evangelists] had harsh words for [or about] busybodies.

Look it up.
