No, thats not my point. Yes I know that Pope John Paul II is the successor of St. Peter, however I don’t know if the early Bishop of Rome had Jurisdiction over the entire Church.

However according to the Eastern Orthodox each Bishop only had Jurisdiction over their particular region. Could you show me a document supporting your point? Thanks.

Holden, I’m sure they say that now, but prior to breaking with Rome in the 11th.century they thought otherwise.
And did this Eastern Orthodox person you spoke with present a document supporting his/her argument?
