Struggling with the Idea of the Pope

Before I began my road to Rome, I struggled with the Pope as well, especially with all the controversy around Pope Francis. But what really led me to accept the Papacy was 3 passages of Scripture.
Matthew 16:18-19
John 21:15-17
Isaiah 22:22
With all three of these put together I saw that St. Peter was made the Steward of the Church, with the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven that no other Apostle was given. He was uniquely given the charge to “Tend(govern, guide) the lambs.” He was made the rock the Church would be built on.
Isaiah 22:22 shows in the OT how a steward was given the authority of the King. Jesus quotes this Matthew 16 when He give Peter the same authority.
And I was convinced that as Judas Iscariot’s office was to be filled, so would St. Peter’s, for the Tradition would be handed on as St. Paul said in 2 Thess. 2:15.

All this put together convinced me of the Papacy, and this no including the massive testament of the Early Church Fathers.

If the Pope is the Successor of St. Peter, and St. Peter was the rock the Church was founded on, then I would want to side with the Successor of St. Peter than not. Wherever Peter is, there is the Church.

It is really this simple:

Jesus started ONE Church
He left that Church seven Holy Mysteries
If you are not Catholic or Orthodox you are rejecting the greatest gifts ever given to humanity.

Do you want to be in a partial church with a subset of sacraments?

Or do you want to obey Christ our True God, and accept ALL His gifts that He knows you need?

The churches you are considering were started by men who rejected gifts from God-with-us, Immanuel.
