Stuck in a marijuana scented house again >~<!

=-= Once again as my sister’s friend and one of my cousin’s has arrived they have had little hesistance lighting up marijuana to smoke,my parents vacationing in NY for the weekend.It started at 9:58 and now at a bit past midnight in EST,the scent is definitely here.If I all of a sudden I walk down would it make a difference?.What will they do?, put away their junk?.

The second time in a row after yesterday night that the do this seeing darn well the light on in the room I’m in (I decided to sleep in my parent’s room while their gone).If I let them continue I’ll have more to tell my parents.Then again I’ve grown disillusioned now (need not read related postings from last year related to both of them =_=) with my cousin and sister and whether there worth

Almost feel tempted to call a relative of mine if I can find her number and regret not having opened the window in my room at least earlier.I’d be happy to hear stuff about effects of the second hand smoke guys…

Relax, you’re not going to get high because some people are smoking downstairs. Do your parents know about this? Do they care? If you can close your window and go on with your night, then that’s probably for the best. Do you really want to stir up a bunch of family drama? I don’t really smoke it, but it’s pretty harmless compared to some other stuff, despite what a lot of propaganda says.

If your sister and cousin are really young or something, then that’s a bit different. You ask what will happen if you go downstairs? Well, what will happen? Why don’t you see.

Don’t worry, there’s very little in secondhand pot smoke. I wouldn’t worry about it.

I would treat this like eating pizza with no plates, bringing their wet muddy dog into the house, or turning up the music too loud. They are being very rude guests, and you can tell them so. If your parents aren’t there to overrule you, you don’t have to put up with it.

Just tell them, “Really?!? That #$%# stinks. I live here, you don’t. Get it out of here and don’t bring it in here again.” If they won’t, just say, “Oh, so you’d just rather I start making phone calls? I don’t want to go there, but this isn’t up for discussion and my patience is gone. Get it out and keep it out, or live with the consequences. Smokers do not own the world any more. That &$% certainly isn’t welcome here. If you want to be welcome here, don’t smoke it here. Period. You don’t have to like it, but you’d better get used to it.”
