Hello.

I can’t seem to get out of this. I’ll come here and post, use my interior decorating software for a while to try and lift my mood, but otherwise I can barely do more than watch tv, bathe and get dressed daily - which is a huge chore lately. It’s another huge chore to get to the gym.

Have also just started a project with an accountability partner, and it’s difficult to just DO anything and I don’t want to let this person down.

Feel like I’m wading through Styrofoam.

Need prayers for the energy and motivation to do the things that I believe are God’s will for me.

Will do. Are you in treatment for the depression?

Praying.

One thing that helps me is getting on my knees daily (morning and at night) and asking God for a grateful and thankful heart and then I tell him at least 5 things I am thankful for in my life. There are so many things I take for granted in my life and this helps me put things in the correct perspective. Also take part in the Sacraments as much as possible, especially confession and daily mass. I will pray for you and please pray for me. May God bless you!

What does your Doctor say? Maybe you’re anemic…iron tabs helps me ALOT.
Praying for you,

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Say this prayer whenever you feel you are depressed. It helps me a lot.

O sacred heart of Jesus, I place my trust in thee,
Whatever may befall me, Lord, though dark the hour may be;
In all my woes, in all my joys, though nought but grief I see,
O sacred heart of Jesus, I place my trust in thee.

When those I loved have passed away, and I am sore distressed,
O sacred heart of Jesus, I fly to thee for rest.
In all my trials, great or small, my confidence shall be
Unshaken as I cry, dear Lord, I place my trust in thee.

This is my one sweet prayer, dear Lord, my faith, my trust, my love,
But most of all in that last hour, when death points up above,
O sweet savior, may thy face smile on my soul all free.
Oh may I cry with rapturous love, I’ve placed my trust in thee.

Also these Psalms might help

Psalm 16:8
I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand I will not be shaken.

Psalm 145:18
The Lord is near to all who call on him. To all who call on him in truth.

Psalm 10:17
You hear O Lord the desire of the afflicted. You encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed.

Psalm 130:5
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits and in his word I put my hope.

Praying for you, and a prayer for you by Saint Ignatius of Loyola:

O Christ Jesus,
when all is darkness
and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence,
Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry us,
for, living close to You,
we shall see Your hand,
Your purpose, Your will through all things.

Praying that the Lord may strengthen you and enable you to find motivation. Also praying that he may take away your depression.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Lord, have mercy on crenfro, please grant this soul many graces and angelic help in the face of every challenge. Permit this soul the fullness of your choicest blessings in keeping with your Holy Will. Shine your divine light into this darkened pilgrimage, that this soul be emboldened by the warmth of your radiance and strive for holy obedience, now, unto the eternal garden of joy. Cultivate in this soul the virtues of peace, joy, faith, hope, and love. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

Dear Lord, you are our refuge in good and in bad times. In your infinite mercy, bring peace and comfort to those of us who face days sometimes filled with pain and depression. Help us to realize that through you there is joy and the promise of lasting peace. Help us through the rough times. Walk before and beside us so that we may walk in your footsteps and reach out to you in our journey on this earth. Help us to focus on our blessings rather than our misfortunes, dear Lord. Thank you for hearing and answering our prayers. Amen

Praying for you.

Dear Lord, during this trial,
I offer up to you my confusion
Give me clarity
I offer up to you my despair
Give me hope
I offer up to you my weakness
Give me strength
I offer up to you my pettiness
Give me generosity of spirit.
I offer up to you all my
Negative thoughts from Satan
So that when he asks ‘Where is Your God now?”
I may respond “Right here with me, giving me His grace
As a Heavenly beam of light penetrating your darkness!"

God bless you.

I pray the depression lifts soon and that you would have an increase in energy. I pray you can be back to doing the things you love soon and enjoying life, instead of it being a struggle. :signofcross:

St. Dymphna & St. Michael please pray for crenfro.
